Clinical duties will include measuring and recording vital signs, collecting demographics or medical information including review of medication list, preparing patients for examination, cleaning rooms and equipment and stocking supplies. This position will involve the administration of medications. The Clinic LPN draws blood and performs waived testing on specimens, or initiate and participate in IV fluid administration if IV certified in Missouri. Performs radiological exams and ordering of medical supplies. Job Requirements--LPN Education Required: Graduate of a state board accredited practical nursing program Experience Required for Float Pool: 1 year primary care experience Preferred: Previous nursing experience, particularly in outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversight. Proficient Computer skills. Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Current License Practical Nurse or Graduate Practical Nurse active in the state of Missouri. Required: Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire. Preferred: IV certification in State of Missouri. Job Requirements—MA III Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Graduated from a formal MA training program that included pharmacology class, anatomy/physiology, the basics of medication administration, and completion of a clinical externship. Experience Required: None Preferred: Previous experience in work that involved direct contact with people. Preferred: Previous experience in health care setting, particularly in an ambulatory clinic setting. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
