Organisation: Department of Transport and Planning Occupation: Policy Reference: 6184 Job posted: 21/01/2025 Closes: 05/02/2025 Classification: VPSG5 Salary Range: $109,730 - $132,764 About the Role The primary purpose of the position is to provide governance, project management, due diligence activities and support across a range of complex and sensitive matters. The role operates within a dynamic environment that requires the ability to exercise sound judgement, effectively liaise with key stakeholders and form strong relationships across the Department and wider government. Position Outcomes / Accountabilities Coordinate LUV responses to compliance activities to ensure that SERV is meeting its contractual obligations. Lead the approvals process when the State or Registrar of Titles receives a proposal for a new product or service that uses land related data from either SERV, Electronic Lodgement Network Operators, or information brokers. Coordinate the delivery of governance and secretariat support for key governance forums including managing the preparation of papers, agendas and other reporting and monitoring mechanisms to support effective governance. Provide authoritative advice on data governance and prepare and present detailed analysis and reports on complex matters on the use of government data. Apply and review the data governance framework and associated tools to ensure new products or services are compliant with existing policies. Key Selection Criteria The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking a skilled Land Information Products and Governance Officer to join their team. Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports at an advanced professional level. Good understanding of and experience in project governance and secretariat functions. Experience in project or stakeholder management would be an advantage. Professional experience in a relevant commercial transaction setting, including in coordinating due diligence processes. Experience working with State or Federal Government.
