We have a unique opportunity for a Lawyer to Associate to join our Insurance team in Sydney working in a team headed by Partner, Robyn Brewster . About the team and the work You will work directly with a Special Counsel who specialises in common law personal injury litigation. Get exposure to State and Commonwealth government departments in a range of jurisdictions as well as self-insured and specialised blue-chip clients. With a strong focus on matters that relate to asbestos and silica related claims, the work is complex and challenging. You will be mentored and encouraged to develop your skills whilst supporting the senior members of the team on a wide range of matters. Previous personal injury litigation experience is essential (either plaintiff or defendant experience). Ideally have some advocacy/litigation skills from District or Supreme Court or be interested in developing them. Attention to detail and an ability to manage time and work to deadlines is essential.
