Lawyer/Senior Associate - General Insurance - Melbourne Leading Australian law firm looking for an experienced law practitioner to join their busy General Insurance team. Leading Australian independent law firm Hybrid working arrangements Competitive remuneration The Team You will be working as a key member of the General Insurance team. The practice is known for dealing with complex, technically challenging claims, offering an excellent environment for career growth and development. As part of a national practice, the Melbourne team benefits from a collaborative culture. The Role The successful candidate will primarily focus on handling public liability claims, managing a diverse portfolio of matters for Australian and international insurers, government entities, and self-insured corporations. Requirements The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of post-admission experience (at Lawyer level), or 5+ years at Senior Associate level in insurance law, ideally with public liability knowledge. In addition to this, the successful lawyer will also have: Strong technical expertise with a keen eye for detail and precision. Proven skills in negotiation and advocacy, with the ability to represent clients effectively. A genuine enthusiasm for tackling complex and high-profile legal challenges.
