We are working closely with one of our key government clients to secure them an experienced Lead Asset Management Analyst/Project Manager. We are seeking someone that can wear multiple hats and who is highly experienced in the Asset Management Space within an IT project.Our client is uplifting an existing solution to become an Asset Management System for their fleet of assets and sub-assets and equipment. This project will be very heavy on some complex procurement and Information Management.What you will be involved with: Lead other Business Analysts, evaluate the quality of their work (e.g. process analysis, requirements specs, test cases) and be direct and constructive in any feedback; Analyse and manage relationships with and between stakeholders at multiple levels; Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts; Manage vendor relationship closely, hold the vendor accountable around designs, alignment of the solution to use cases, the testing process (inc cases and responsibility for test management) and working closely with business SMEs; Validate that solutions meet both technical and business needs through testing and user acceptance reviews; Supporting business transition and helping to establish change. Highly desirable requirements: Prior experience in managing Business Analyst resources (in a PM or Lead BA capacity); Fluent in asset management concepts and key principles as related to mobile assets, fit-outs, inventory and maintenance; Familiarity with the key concepts, e.g. capitalisation and capital planning, depreciation, relevance of written down values, useful lives, impairments, write-offs etc.; Familiarity with the SDLC process in the context of working with an external software provider; Ability to work with demanding business stakeholders with a ‘level-headed’ but assertive approach. Desirable: Capable / experienced within an Agile practice environment, including use of Atlassian stack (Jira / Confluence); Government procurement experience inc preparation of business cases / procurement documentation.
