Boeing Corporate's Ethics and Business Conduct organisation is seeking an experienced Principal Senior Corporate Investigator (CI) to conduct and oversee high-profile Global Compliance investigations, including complex ethics and business conduct cases, misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and fraud, ensuring quality review and effective case management at a senior corporate level. This Corporate Investigator role, and the Law and Global Compliance organisation, are both instrumental in the overall success of the Company by driving an open and accountable business culture. The role is based in Brisbane and reports to the Senior Manager – Corporate Investigations based in Canada. Domestic relocation may be considered for the right candidate. Due to the global nature of the team, there will be the need to facilitate calls and meetings outside traditional business hours, but with that comes great flexibility. The position does require some travel, both domestically and internationally on occasion when the business need arises.Position Responsibilities: Manages case prioritisation and optimises the use of investigative resources to enhance productivity. Integrates and oversees investigation and case management metrics to support business partner engagements, Ethics initiatives, operational improvements, and risk mitigation. Periodically briefs stakeholders (e.g., Reporting Party, Human Resources, Management, Ethics) on case status and relevant findings, based on investigation sensitivity and legal requirements. Fosters collaborative investigative partnerships with Ethics, Human Resources, Law, Quality, Safety, and other departments to enhance joint investigations. Enhances anti-retaliation efforts by identifying and investigating retaliatory behaviors, while reassuring participants of their protections. Oversees data collection and analysis, recommends operational and risk mitigation improvements, and ensures implementation of these enhancements. Develops new investigations and ethics-based programs, tools, and strategies. Consults on key strategic initiatives to align with organisational goals. Mentors and trains investigators to facilitate knowledge transfer and skill development. Creates and delivers specialised training content for the Corporate Investigations team and relevant stakeholders. Identifies remediation opportunities to reduce the likelihood of future wrongdoing. Works autonomously with latitude in determining objectives and approaches. Education/Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher preferred, but not essential. We will consider combination of professional experience and other education. Holds Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and/or Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC) certification, or other relevant certification in workplace investigations is preferred. Experience Required Over 12 years of experience conducting complex investigations and managing investigative process to include collecting data and facts, conducting interviews, preparing precise and accurate investigative reports and analyzing data to identify trends and/or discrepancies. Over 12 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Experience in internal affairs roles within corporate or public sectors, performing comprehensive internal corporate-investigations. 12+ years conducting formal employee-related and corporate investigations, including interviews and data analysis is an advantage. Conducted global investigations outside the United States, utilising forensic investigative tools and software. Led the development and implementation of training programs and initiatives, serving as a subject-matter expert and external spokesperson for organisations is an advantage.
