The Opportunity Due to our expanding business, we are currently looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join the existing ICT team supporting close to 400 people across Australia. The Cyber Security Analyst will work closely with the Head of ICT and ICT System and Network Administrator and be responsible for Cyber Security at BG&E Resources. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring, identifying, and actioning cyber security events and related risks Executing the existing Cyber Maturity roadmap Managing the vulnerability management program Assisting with risk analysis activities Staying current on cyber security threats and news Assisting with cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives Contributing to the development and improvement of processes, procedures, guidelines, standards, and architectures in relation to ICT security Working collaboratively with the ICT team and external vendors Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Tertiary qualification and extensive experience in Cyber Security or relevant appropriate discipline. Previous experience in ICT Infrastructure including Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, and networking In-depth knowledge of security monitoring and incident response. In-depth knowledge of risk analysis and risk mitigation strategies. Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Knowledge of cyber security frameworks such as NIST, Essential Eight, and ISO27001 Experience applying high level analytical skills to implement solutions that meet the evolving needs of the cyber security environment.
