Design Engineer – Senior Lead Position at Murray Engineering Murray Engineering is looking for an Experienced Design Engineer to supervise our Mechanical and Structural Engineering department at our Pinjarra Head Office. You’ll work with a talented team to bring new products to the market, refine existing designs, and contribute to our company’s growth. About the role: Senior position Monday - Friday Roster Full Time Immediate start Salary based position Role duties may include but are not limited to: Supervision of the Mechanical and Structural Engineering team Manage PDM, SolidWorks software and server vault Work with Safety in Design procedure Design and analyse mechanical and structural systems and equipment for mining and construction. Calculations as required for designs- FEA, etc Utilisation of CPEng, RPEQ and other qualifications to certify designs and review of external sources The successful applicant must have: Mechanical Engineering Degree with CPEng status or currently in the process of acquiring CP status A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a similar role A minimum of 10 years postgraduate experience (negotiable for the right candidate) Proficient in 3D SolidWorks design, FEA, PDM Vault and Server support, and Space Gass Experience in the design and manufacture of underground mining, construction, and fabricated steel structures Strong leadership and communication skills Must have full Australian working rights National Police Clearance Preferably reside within 60 km of the Pinjarra head office Current driver's license How to apply: The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
