Direct message the job poster from Mantech Recruitment Experienced Electronics/Electrical Engineer now General Manager for Engineering, IT Recruitment Lead Electronics Engineer / Hardware Lead 4 Days a week remote working available Sydney, Australia (Preferred) The Role A leading innovator in wearable technology is seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer / Hardware Lead to drive the development of low-power, wireless biosignal sensing devices for consumer and research applications. This hands-on role involves hardware design, certification, manufacturing support, and team leadership across a distributed team. Key Responsibilities Lead hardware development for low-power wireless biosignal sensing devices Design mixed-signal circuits, DSPs, microprocessors, and wireless communication (Bluetooth/BLE/WiFi) Oversee PCB design (Altium), flex-rigid PCB layouts, and power management Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and liaise with test houses for FCC, CE certification Work with external contractors for ID, mechanical design, firmware, and manufacturing Collaborate with software and QA teams to ensure reliable data delivery and firmware updates Manage production processes, component sourcing, and documentation Technical Requirements Strong electronic design experience in low-noise analog, digital, and wireless systems Expertise in Bluetooth, BLE, WiFi (Nordic/Qualcomm), and battery-powered devices Hands-on experience with firmware development, compliance testing, and manufacturing Knowledge of QMS, medical product development, and regulatory standards (FCC, CE, etc.) This role offers an opportunity to lead cutting-edge hardware innovation in brain-computer interface technology.
