About The University of Western Australia The University of Western Australia (UWA) is one of Australia's leading universities and has an international reputation for excellence in teaching, learning, and research. It has almost 24,000 students enrolled across four campuses. Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis. Base salary range: $100,524.00 – $111,534 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. About the area UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilize technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models. The redesign of the IT Services Delivery aims to realign the teams in centres geographically located in three critical mass services centres. About the opportunity Identify gaps in process, customer service, SLA achievements, and business/IT partnerships and implement solutions. Act as the entry point for new services/processes ensuring the handover to support process is adhered to. Establish working groups, conduct business engagement sessions, and form value-add relationships with the broader IT Team. About you Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency. ITIL certification or substantial experience in Service Delivery process is essential. Demonstrated experience with field/on-site support of complex IT systems and services. Demonstrated experience in leading an IT Support team/function in large and complex environments.
