The Role With a passion for communications and a belief in the philosophy of delivering timely, relevant communication not just getting ‘stuff out the door’ you will take the lead in delivering our partner communications. Responsible for the development, management and optimisation of marketing campaigns, activities and materials used to support MLCL’s Intermediary distribution channel you will drive a better way forward. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, in particular the Retail Distribution Partnership team, to design, develop and execute intermediary marketing activities across the full range of marketing channels. Your creative thinking will help you develop and explore innovative engagement and content strategies (beyond traditional email) to deliver increased Partner engagement with MLCL and recall of crucial messaging. You take pride in testing new ideas and improving engagement metrics on existing channels. As a senior member of the Individual Insurance Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to be a mentor and coach for more junior team members. Your responsibilities will include: Accountabilities: Brand and Marketing Working with the Individual Insurance Marketing team and senior business stakeholders to plan, develop and execute integrated marketing plans, ensuring: creative thinking and exploration of new ideas is front of mind, stakeholder needs are understood and addressed, plans focus on achieving the business' goals. Understand financial adviser needs and consider the full user experience and champion best practice creative development and design. Deliver support toolkits to enable sales and education across all channels. Develop communications collateral by either copywriting yourself, engaging internal teams, or managing an external agency to deliver outputs, and ensure work is executed on time and to budget. Work closely with marketing colleagues to optimise product launches for an intermediary audience. Manage staging of internal and external events. Ensure the brand representation is potent and consistent across all market facing activity and that every execution helps to build brand strength and sets us apart from competitors. Continually assess results and performance of communications collateral to ensure continuous improvement and provide feedback to inform future strategies. Stakeholder Engagement Build relationships and work collaboratively with the CX&M team and partners across the business to deliver campaigns in an efficient and collaborative way, on time and on budget. Champion the good work coming from our team throughout the business. Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified. About you Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or related discipline. A proficient number of years’ experience in marketing with a focus on B2B and managing relationships. Experience working across digital projects, campaigns and complex environments; combined with recent experience in all aspects of digital initiatives, including web and digital marketing and analytics. Demonstrated experience in developing data driven campaigns, content and thought leadership across video, articles, webinars and events. Experience managing email marketing activity. Event marketing experience an advantage. Well-developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, yet strategically minded. Ability to manage multiple projects, pressing timelines and some ambiguity with ease. Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple stakeholders. Solid project and campaign planning and management skills. High level of enthusiasm and drive to succeed within a fast-paced environment and hard-working team.
