About the role We are inviting applications for the opportunity to grow your career with Orica as the Lead - Planning. Based at our beautiful Cannon Hill office, the Lead - Planning will be at the helm of managing the end-to-end supply chain planning for a designated portfolio within the Australia Pacific region. You will also support global supply to other regions as needed. This pivotal role ensures that cost and service goals are met through meticulous planning of a highly regulated and specialized range of products offered to customers in the mining and civil construction markets. What you will be doing Strategic Leadership: Lead the supply chain planning process, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance; Global Impact: Support global supply initiatives, extending your influence beyond the Australia Pacific region; Cost & Service Excellence: Drive cost efficiency and service excellence through effective planning; Regulatory Compliance: Navigate the complexities of a highly regulated industry, ensuring compliance and safety; Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Supply Team to implement and uphold Group mandates, standards, and procedures; Operational Excellence: Ensure that Site planning teams operate to the highest standards and procedures. What you will bring Industry Experience: Experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Manufacturing and other relevant B2B Marketing industries; Educational Background: Advanced degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, or similar fields; Professional Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably with a global organization; Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of MRP, planning, and forecasting. Strong inventory management experience and proficiency with SAP IBP; Leadership Skills: Demonstrate a passion towards working in a team-oriented fashion, supporting others' success.
