About the Role: Maltem Consulting Group is seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Consultant with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric. This role will play a critical part in an advisory project we are leading for one of our prestigious clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data visualization solutions, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into actionable insights. We are looking for someone who can lead the whole team, define the architecture in the right way, and implement across the board as well. (Team of 3 Power BI engineers from junior to intermediate level to mentor & lead) Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for reporting and data visualisation. Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports that align with business goals. Leverage expertise in Microsoft Fabric to integrate data sources, ensure smooth data pipelines, and enhance reporting capabilities. Optimise data models and reports for performance and usability. Provide guidance on best practices for Power BI and Fabric implementations. Conduct workshops and training sessions to enable end-users to maximize the value of Power BI solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to provide innovative solutions. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Power BI Consultant, with a strong portfolio of dashboard and report development. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data integration and transformation. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. Experience in connecting to various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure, and other cloud-based platforms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications in Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
