In this role, you’ll be responsible for guiding the team in delivering credit risk solutions along with getting hands-on with SAS development. You’ll be required to have an understanding of projects managed by your chapter, ensure that ING has a best practice analytical platform to make effective, fact-based decisions, support our regulatory, head-office reporting commitments, and bring an understanding of end-to-end data flows covering source systems, data warehouse, and reporting systems. This is a critical role involved in maintaining and implementing critical regulatory processes that have a high impact on the bank, and as such requires a high degree of diligence and focus on developing high resilience solutions. What you’ll do … Participate in standard agile ceremonies for your squad including stand up, refinements, reviews, and retrospectives. Provide solutions that support business requirements in SAS, help refine, size, and complete user stories in the squad backlog. Design and develop programs and processes using SAS to ING’s standards. Identify and resolve SAS-related technical issues, estimate effort, and effectively identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies in work tasks and new initiatives. What we’re looking for… Proven industry experience in SAS, preferably within the Financial Services/Banking sector or consulting background. Advanced knowledge of SAS Software (BASE, STAT, GRAPH, MACRO). Hands-on experience in Advanced SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, AWS, SAS Viya, and Python. Knowledge and/or experience working in an Agile & Continuous Delivery environment. A diligent critical thinker who is constantly seeking out opportunities for process improvement.
