Lead Security Engineer, NV1, NV2, TS PV - Canberra Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) Professional Services Division in Canberra as we seek a driven, highly skilled and competent, NV1, NV2 and TS PV cleared, EL1, Lead Security Engineer to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers. About you Previous experience with operational and system security management and administrative services for complex security issues. Previous experience with providing advice and guidance on complex IT system security issues. Previous experience with dealing with business stakeholders, project managers, systems architects and other groups as required, to define and support solution delivery. About the role Job Duties and Responsibilities may include: Work as a key contributing member of a highly diverse and fast-paced team, supporting existing infrastructure and users. Conduct capability and concept development in the context of technical security. Undertake/Support security design and implementation activities. Deliver verification and validation activities including conducting security certification/accreditation and support activities. Develop a schedule of work and report on progress. Technical Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field. At least 5 years’ experience as a security engineer or similar role. Experience in identifying and/or applying security controls. Experience with security controls in cloud computing systems. Experience with using and administering ICT security applications such as a SIEM (e.g. Arcsight, Splunk), vulnerability management tools or endpoint protection tools.
