ABOUT THE ROLE We operate a modern fleet of around 30 prime movers of various configurations from PBS twin steer truck and 6 axle dog tippers, semi tippers through to A Double/triple road-trains. We also operate a delivery fleet of 8 cement powder tankers ranging from singles, road trains and PBS compliant twin steer truck and 5 axle dog cement tankers. We are looking for a proactive Leading Hand - Transport who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team who pride themselves on their safety and performance. In this role you will be available Monday to Friday with 5am starts and potential Saturday work available. Experience is highly regarded but not essential. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate genuine commitment to safety by consistently displaying behaviours aligned with safe work practices Perform daily pre-start and maintenance checks Report all maintenance, hazards and safety issues Assist with maintenance schedules and coordinating equipment movement Monitor driver fatigue in accordance with NHVR requirements Ensure driver schedules are achieved QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES 18 speed road ranger experience (essential) Tipper & Tanker experience (essential) Truck and Dog or B-Double/Road train experience (minimum 2+ years) (essential) Competency in Basic Fatigue Management and Mass Management (Preferred) APPLY NOW Apply now by submitting your resume and cover letter.
