Purpose of the role Greater Bank and Newcastle Permanent have come together to form NGM Group Ltd, a powerhouse in customer-owned banking. As our growth journey progresses, we’re pleased to offer a permanent, full-time Learning & Development Specialist opportunity in our Learning, Leadership & Culture team. You will help shape the future of learning at NGM Group, researching, designing, and implementing learning solutions that meet both current and future needs. Your work will support employee growth, enhance performance, and contribute to business success. What will your key responsibilities include? Conducting needs assessments, gap analyses, and stakeholder interviews to identify potential learning solutions. Designing, developing, and reviewing learning solutions that align with identified needs. Defining success metrics, measuring the impact of learning initiatives, analysing feedback and utilising data to refine strategies. End-to-end project management of learning initiatives, from scoping to execution and evaluation ensuring deliverables are managed within agreed timelines. Facilitation of key learning/capability programs. What are we looking for? A track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating learning solutions. Strong consultative skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders to deeply understand business needs and translate into high-level objectives and learning requirements. Experience in designing learner-centered solutions that enhance the learning experience, ensuring engagement, retention, and real-world application. The ability to set clear, measurable learning objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of programs using feedback, assessments, and performance data. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated project management experience, leading end-to-end learning initiatives, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and delivering programs on time and within scope. Creative thinking and well-developed problem-solving skills. What can you expect from us?
