Learning Experience Designer (Leadership) Tonka Learning is a world-class leadership development company based in Richmond VIC, providing tailored learning solutions to blue-chip organisations, big and small. We are seeking an innovative Learning Experience Designer (LXD) to craft engaging, impactful, and scalable learning experiences in the leadership development space. This role blends instructional design, user-centred learning strategies, and digital learning tools to enhance leadership capability across our client organisations. As part of the Learning & Development team, you will work closely with clients, subject matter experts, and external partners to design high-quality learning experiences that drive behavioural change and business impact. Hours: Full-Time WFH Flexibility: 3 days in the office (minimum), 2 days remote Reporting to: Head of Leadership Design YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Stakeholder Management (30%): Initial briefings. Client presentations (showcasing our ideas). Client progress updates. (in some cases), contributing to proposals to win new work. Instructional Design (50%): Engage with our team and external R&D community to generate new leadership development ideas. Find inspiration from evidence based research to support client needs but also support new product development. Develop/customise resources, incl. workshop agendas, PPT, case studies, facilitator guides, pre-engagement, post-embedding activities, evaluation strategy, digital resources, etc. Attend workshops (virtual and in-person) to review and make improvements. Review evaluation data, look for trends and opportunities for improvement. Group Projects (20%): These projects will vary based on individual interests but can include: Consolidate our R&D partnerships with scholars, practitioners and institutions. Enhance our custom LXP digital platform. Project manage a third-party relationship where Tonka Learning will be the sponsor for a national leadership development award for a particular industry. Create resources to support executive coaching. Note, in this role you will have an external mentor and administration support. You will not be expected to provide any facilitation or coaching services (we already have so many great people doing this). YOUR CREDENTIALS: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning design, and experience in leadership development. Advanced level MS Office skills; the aptitude to learn quickly with new software, i.e., LMS, Asana and CRM. Outstanding written/verbal communication skills, with excellent influencing skills. A client-focused mindset; a willingness to make client's lives easier and simpler. Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines. Work efficiently and productively in independent and team settings. Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail. WHY TONKA LEARNING?
