Lecturer – Civil Construction Continuing, full time appointmentVET Teaching Focused Academic Level A upto $111,253 paPlus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leaveAlice Springs Campus About the Position As the Lecturer – Civil Construction, you will facilitate competency-based training using a range of delivery modes including face-to-face, mixed-mode, workplace based, external and online delivery along with providing high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders and maintain a learning environment that encourages and ensures student participation. About You To be successful, you will require: A minimum of a Certificate III in Civil Construction and have demonstrated relevant working experience covering the specific areas of the current Resources & Infrastructure Industry (RII) Training Package. TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or equivalent qualification as outlined by Australian Skills Quality Authority Framework (ASQA) or the ability to obtain this qualification in a set time frame. Relevant experience in training within the context of the Civil Construction industry and be able to demonstrate an understanding of Competency Based Training and Workplace Assessment. Demonstrated ability to engage in effective and proactive teamwork recognising the abilities of others and utilising co-operative approaches. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language. Demonstrated competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages. Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at VET Teaching Focused Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $74,157 - $111,253 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $86,763 - $130,166 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
