What will you be responsible for? This role sits as part of our Legal Support team and will see you providing primarily administrative assistance along with some paralegal duties to two of our Sydney Law Partners. This opportunity will suit an experienced Legal Administrator with paralegal experience who is used to operating in a high-performing and professional environment. A typical day will see you juggling multiple tasks and interacting with your immediate team, collaborating with other teams across the business, and representing Citation Legal to our clients. Your key activities in this role will be (but not limited to): Formatting documents, CRM management, opening and updating file matter administration, and liaising with clients. Awareness to stay on top of the Law Partners workload and provide reminders for outstanding work and actions. Diary management and meeting bookings. Coordination of invoicing for monthly billing cycle. Attending to court to file documents as required and online lodgments. Preparing briefs for Counsel and assisting professionals with litigation matters where required. Call management for team including screening calls if instructed and taking and actioning messages on behalf of team members. Legal research, fact gathering, and information retrieval. Assisting with case planning, development, and management. What we are looking for? We’re on the hunt for an individual with a natural flair for organisation and getting things done accurately and on time. Minimum 3 years’ experience providing administrative support in a legal environment as a team admin, legal secretary, personal assistant, or paralegal, ideally at a law firm or within a corporate environment. Paralegal experience will be appreciated or alternatively a willingness to learn. Experience of legal terminology and an understanding of federal and state rules of legal procedure Australia wide will come in handy. Exceptional organisational abilities. Clear and concise communication skills, both written & verbal. High attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Highly skilled in using MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, strong broader computer and technology skills desirable such as Salesforce. Next steps? Hit the Apply button with your updated CV.
