Legal Counsel | Energy Regulatory matters | Remote contract role Working as a key member in the in-house legal team of a well-known energy company, you’ll advise on an interesting and complex range of matters in connection with the company's retail energy business. Examples of the types of day-to-day work that you'll assist with will include: Advising on retail energy regulatory and legal compliance issues; Energy disputes with the Australian Energy Regulator; Advising on the National Electricity Rules and the National Energy Retail Rules. The interesting variety of work on offer in this role and the quality and complexity of the matters you will be involved in will ensure that no two days are the same. This opportunity is available on a fully remote basis, so if you have relevant experience and are keen for a role where you'll work entirely from home, please reach out! You To be suitable for this opportunity, you'll be a lawyer with demonstrated knowledge and legal experience in the Australian electricity and energy space. You'll enjoy working as part of a team but will also have the requisite level of experience to enable you to work autonomously.
