In partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium (comprised of Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild) is delivering a transformative, city-shaping metro rail project in Greater Western Sydney. RDWSA will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Parklife Metro for 15 years. About the Role: Reporting into the Commercial Director, the Legal Counsel will be responsible for managing risk, ensuring compliance, and resolving any legal disputes relating to the Parklife Metro’s ongoing operations and maintenance. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Conducting legal research and staying updated on relevant laws and regulations relevant to RDWSA. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to negotiate and finalize contractual terms to ensure they align with RDWSA’s goals and legal requirements. Providing litigation support, including gathering evidence and preparing court documents if required. Identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Monitoring and enforcing contractual obligations to protect RDWSA’s interests, addressing breaches of contracts, and negotiating resolutions. Providing risk assessment and advice on legal issues to internal and external stakeholders. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, file management, and report preparation, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all legal documentation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
