Legal Counsel | Litigation | Government | 5 yrs+ PQE | 3 to 6 month contract Freedom to work on your terms The Opportunity If you’re a litigation lawyer looking for a role where you’ll get to advise on an interesting and varied range of disputes, we have an exciting opportunity for you! In this role, you'll work as a member of the Commercial Litigation & Disputes team of a large Queensland Government department and will advise on a broad range of matters, including general commercial, construction and property disputes, trade practices, and debt recovery. Working closely with a team of lawyers at various levels, you'll have the opportunity to learn from others and develop your expertise across different areas of law. In order to be suitable, you will have: a minimum of 5 years PQE in commercial litigation and disputes; experience in drafting pleadings and other court documentation and advising on complex matters; excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
