Line Operator (Food) | Full Time | Day Shift Bread is the heart and soul of Laurent. The Role A fantastic opportunity for an experienced line operator to join our production and packing team in a full-time capacity on the 12 hour day shift from 6AM – 6PM. Working a 76 hour’s fortnight on a rotating roster which includes alternate weekend rotation. Located in Braeside you will report into the Supervisor and be a part of a hard-working friendly team. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring the automated production bakery line and working the packaging department. The Tasks Work in a state-of-the-art bakery production environment Monitoring the production line and machines Identifying and resolving production issues Liaising with maintenance to resolve complex issues Undertaking thorough cleaning of the line between lines and throughout shift Packing products as required (this includes cold environments) Cleaning the production line and surroundings The Successful Candidate Previous experience as a line operator or a similar role preferred Baker qualification/bakery experience preferred Access to on-the-job training Ability to lift up to 25kgs Standing and working in a repetitive environment Able to work in a fast-paced food production facility Full working rights essential The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of an outstanding work environment, in a company who invests in their people, is focused on continuous improvement and providing the highest quality product to its community.
