Come and be a part of this success. About the Location Jimblebar is an open-cut pit iron ore mine located 40 kilometres east of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It is one of five mines and four processing hubs that make up Western Australia Iron Ore – an integrated system of joint ventures connecting 1,000 kilometres of rail infrastructure and port facilities. About the Role Reporting to the BOS Lead, this position is accountable for implementation of the BHP Operating System (BOS) and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives for the site by effectively influencing, coaching and collaborating across departments and workstreams. BOS is a way of leading and working that makes improvement part of what we do every day and focuses on Serving Our Customers, Pursuing Operation Perfection and Empowering Our People. Multiple opportunities are available on a 5:2:4:3 roster FIFO from Perth. Key Accountabilities Enable a healthy and performing improvement engine at all levels within the operation, whilst focusing coaching activities at Frontline to Superintendent level (L1-L3). Assist site leaders with the identification, prioritisation, problem solving and implementation of frontline improvement. Assist site leaders with prioritised Kaizen / site breakthrough initiatives at L3 (departmental level). Assist site leadership in the monitoring of BOS capability and local training required to maintain and continuously build BOS capability in all areas across the site. Build the operational site teams’ ability to problem solve and continually improve their work off a base of Standardised Work, replicating and sharing best practice within high impact repetitive maintenance activities and making frontline work safer, easier, better. Enable growth and utilisation of Standardised Work (SW) within their operation, inclusive of creating new and updating existing SW. Enable the core systems associated with the ‘improvement engine’ at site. Assisting operational teams access, use, and manage information in CoreWork, BrightSpot, MyBOS, SW Field App, SW Builder App, WAVE and KaiNexus. Identify, engage, and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders. Identify, implement, and evaluate the success of continuous improvement activities/initiatives to improve the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of BHP systems and processes. Conduct presentations and facilitate workshops using storytelling to connect, influence and engage the audience. Prioritise work effort and resources accordingly.
