Locum VR GP | AMS Location: Tennant Creek, Northern TerritoryDuration: 2-4 weeksRate: $1800 + GST per day (full pay for travel days)Role: GP Clinic - no on call or afterhoursAbout The Position: Join a dedicated medical team at a multi-faceted facility in Tennant Creek. The clinic provides comprehensive primary healthcare services and is committed to improving the health and well-being of their community.Position Overview: We are seeking a Locum General Practitioner with experience in Aboriginal Medical Services (AMS) and primary health care to provide exceptional care in this role. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team, including highly experienced Registered Nurses and Aboriginal Health Workers.Key Responsibilities: Conduct consultations for walk-ins and scheduled appointments (15-20 patients per day) Collaborate with nursing staff for immunizations and blood tests Utilize the Communicare software system for patient management (knowledge preferred but not mandatory) Clinic closed on Thursday afternoons for paperwork and audits. Facility Details: Main building features a Women's Clinic and General Ward Separate Men's Clinic on-site 25 consult rooms Pathology services on-site, with results available electronically Support from an administrative team, including Medicare and patient travel officers Travel, Car & Accommodation provided Requirements: Current registration as a Specialist General Practitioner in Australia Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Experience in chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, RHD) is an advantage Apply Now If you are interested in this position, please submit your CV by clicking APPLY NOW or email .
