Location: Located 5 hours outside of Melbourne, The Mallee is an iconic region in Victoria, characterized by its unique bushland and semi-arid landscapes. The region offers a mix of rural serenity and the opportunity to explore Australia’s outback.With no on-call or after-hours work in your contract, you’ll have more time to enjoy the natural surroundings, reducing stress. About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum General Practitioner to join our team for a period of 2-4 weeks. The position is clinic-based with a focus on providing high-quality, face-to-face care. The role does not include on-call responsibilities or after-hours work, offering a great work-life balance. Key Details: Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM Break: 1 hour lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Rate: $1,600 + GST per day Appointments: Standard 15-minute consultations Admin & Support: Full admin and RN support; Nurse Practitioner on-site once a week Dates: February 15th – March 14th (2 weeks considered)March 24th – ongoing (2/3 weeks) About You: You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care, primarily focusing on chronic disease management and care plans. While telehealth GPs are available, this role requires someone to provide in-person consultations. Experience with chronic conditions and care plans is highly valued. VR GP.
