About Murgon and Wondai: Murgon and Wondai are small rural towns with excellent recreational and sporting facilities. The local schools have an excellent reputation. Kingaroy is the regional centre and provides excellent shopping variety. There has been a significant population growth since the onset of COVID-19 with many metropolitan people re-locating and expressing satisfaction with their choice which is strengthening the area greatly. Position Description: Our practices provide a wide range of services that they offer for their patients. This allows doctors to offer services in their area of special interest and the practices are well equipped with Murgon hosting the South Burnett Skin Cancer Clinic with a dedicated operating theatre. The practice is a teaching practice, for GP registrars and medical students and has a long history of mentoring in both areas. After Hours Requirements: No Qualifications & Experience: Applicants must hold the necessary qualifications from AHPRA to provide rural general practice. A wide range of previous experience and Vocationally registered as a general practitioner.
