Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home! About The Role The Logistics Distribution Manager ANZ is responsible for transportation and delivery of goods within the supply chain. This role ensures that products are delivered to customers efficiently and on time while maintaining cost-effectiveness, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of logistics and distribution management from end to end. In this role, you will work closely with our customers, all State Logistics Managers, Sales operations and Sales functions within countries, logistics providers, and Business Area functions. Please note that this position does not have any direct reports currently. What You’ll Do Manage daily end-to-end distribution operations, including order fulfilment and transportation. Ensure all products are distributed within agreed timelines and meet quality standards. Ensure management of key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas of improvement, maintain long-term relationships and strategy with transportation providers. Manage tendering process in the area of distribution with the purchasing department. Manage distribution cost budget and revision of distribution costs. Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes and reduce costs in cooperation with the Sales Department, Sales Operations, and the relevant Logistics Purchasing Teams. Anticipate future distribution challenges and avoid business risks and unplanned costs. Ensure correct reporting related to distribution costs and cooperation with the Controlling Department in the field of cost-to-serve. Lead, train, and manage distribution staff, including transport planners and delivery drivers. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping and transportation regulations. Implement and monitor safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards. Prepare regular reports for senior management on operations, costs, and performance metrics. Use data to forecast demand and adjust distribution strategies accordingly. Active participation in projects related to distribution or other special projects within the logistics area. Who You Are Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Solid experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management roles. As this is an ANZ role, you must have at least Australia-wide, national level experience handling outbound products. Strong understanding of transportation and inventory management systems (Oracle OTM, SAP WMS, SAP ECC preferred; however, other ERP and transport systems will be well regarded). You are able to demonstrate experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong leadership and communication abilities. Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with reporting tools. Strategic planning and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to changes in demand and distribution requirements. Commitment to maintaining high service standards.
