Office environment with some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.). Location/Division Specific Information This role is based on-site in our Brisbane offices. About the Role: In this role, you will lead all logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipment activities in our Austin facility. You will be focused on coordinating material movements to ensure seamless operations whilst closely adhering to EH&S and cGMP standards. What You'll Do: Coordinate operational material management. Act as the primary liaison between Operations, Project Management, Quality, and Warehousing for all shipment-related activities. Lead internal transfer of materials between storage facilities. Ensure accurate cleaning and validation of all storage equipment. Handle import and export logistics for all materials. Ensure shipment invoices are accurately costed to projects. Supervise goods flows and implement expansion programs. Collaborate with collaborators and freight forwarders to ensure compliance with SOP and international regulations. Assist with warehouse material management and transportation requirements. Trade Compliance: Serve as the site’s subject matter authority on trade compliance. Maintain up-to-date import permits and meet export requirements. Perform client/customer screenings as the need arises. Ensure compliance with global trade regulations. Keys to Success: Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience, Skills and Knowledge: Proven experience in shipping and logistics, including trade compliance. Forklift and MR/DG licenses. Strong numerical skills and experience with inventory and materials management. Skilled in managing temperature-sensitive shipments. Outstanding planning and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills - both written and verbal. Strong leadership skills. Other Important Information Activities within the warehouse department need to be completed in line with EH&S and cGMP requirements. A high degree of work scheduling and prioritization of job tasks is necessary, and working with multiple internal stakeholders and IT systems. Adhere to OHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment, and adhere to the Chain of Responsibility obligations under the Australian Heavy Vehicle National Law.
