About the role An opportunity for a Part Time and a Full time Logistics Officer has become available within our Ammonium Nitrate Commercial team based out of our Kwinana site. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will be responsible for planning and scheduling the distribution of chemical products efficiently and safely, according to customer demand and product availability. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating domestic road and rail logistics. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customer service requests and inquiries are resolved in a timely manner. Ensuring all relevant dispatch documentation is completed for each dispatch, including dangerous goods checklists and road delivery notes. Coordinating external services required to safely distribute chemical products. Identifying opportunities for improvement in current systems and processes and taking a leading role in developing and implementing solutions. Providing customers with accurate and timely order processing services and invoicing of products. Do you have the following skills and experience? Previous experience within import/export shipping and road/rail logistics, or similar. Strong communication skills with well-developed customer service skills. High attention to detail with an ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflict in an effective manner. Dangerous Goods experience is preferred but not essential. SAP experience is preferred but not essential. The role requires some flexibility regarding hours worked in order to meet our customer expectations. This position is based out of our Kwinana Site with flexible work options available. Given the nature of the position and within reason, the successful incumbent may be required to be contactable outside of business hours.
