Job Description

As a Leader Driver/Logistics Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the operational success of our home staging projects. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of furniture, decor, and other staging materials to and from properties across Brisbane. This role requires someone who is highly organized, reliable, and capable of handling logistics challenges with a positive attitude. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OPERATIONS Safely transport furniture, decor, and staging materials to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in loading and unloading company inventory, ensuring they are protected and secured properly to prevent damage during transport. Assist with on-site staging setup and collections as needed. Comply with all company processes and procedures. Clear understanding of Daily/Weekly routines and have accountability for adhering to deadlines. Must understand the mechanics of the company and adapt to changes. Be able to provide different points of view and solutions to applicable contexts. Must own the handling of property keys, always taking care to prevent their loss or damage. Ensure that each job is loaded complete in terms of furniture, accessories, bags, and specific objects that complement the furniture like glass for Dining Tables, Cushions for sofas, or screws. Provide end of day report/summary to the line manager regarding loads/projects status of projects. Day-to-day communication with the lead stylist for instructions and support when required. LEADERSHIP Training, directing and be a role model for team members under your supervision. Accountable to meet Company processes and procedures on a day-to-day basis. Clear understanding of the importance of safely transporting company inventory. Required to accurately recognize and adapt to the different operational phases throughout the day, ensuring that timelines are met by accelerating processes when necessary and adopting a more deliberate pace when appropriate. Guide their team on the right paths for efficiency. Clear understanding of Daily/Weekly routines and have accountability for adhering to deadlines. Conduct weekly self and team analysis to understand and reduce potential incidents. Understanding the contexts when the times are positive to enhance such practices, and in the context of loss of time or damages look for the reason and lead to minimize it and improve it. Provide constructive feedback on an ongoing basis to overall logistics team. Correct bad procedures seen in real-time and notify the team likewise of the faults that cannot be repeated. Communicate to line manager failures observed over the days and provide input on improvement opportunities. Address solutions to day-to-day operations that arise before escalating to line manager. INVENTORY Maintain accurate records of inventory and deliveries, including condition reports of items before and after transport. Ensures effective utilization and care of all business equipment, inventory and safekeeping of items to maintain them in great working order preventing damages. Familiarise and have clear knowledge of SIS Inventory. VEHICLES / (TRUCK/VANS) Notify of Upcoming Truck Service/Maintenance. Perform regular maintenance checks on the company vehicle and report any issues or needed repairs. Preserve the inventory of Tool kits provided for installation processes and trucks. Ensuring trucks/vehicles allocated are with sufficient fuel for day-to-day operations. Ensure compliance with all traffic and transportation laws. WAREHOUSE Responsible upkeeping and maintenance of specific key areas of our warehouse. COMMUNICATION Responsible for communication with agents or property owners when the schedule requires to do so. SAFETY Care for and protect the safety of team members. Notify (solve where possible) line manager of immediate hazard scenarios that arise at the workplace. Ensures effective utilization and care of all business equipment, inventory, and safekeeping of items to maintain them in great working order preventing damages and avoiding occurrence of pilferage, accidents, and occupational hazards. Ensures all equipment is well stored in a safe manner and not representing a hazard to the Sell In Style Property Styling team, any visitor(s) to our premises or at external customers' locations. CUSTOMER SERVICE Demonstrate a strong focus on customer service; can-do attitude and problem-solving abilities. Maintains the highest standards of customer service by immediately attending and resolving customer issues before, during or after engaging with them. Qualifications: Valid Australian or International driver's license. Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role preferred. Ability to lift and move heavy items with care. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
