Job Description

We are currently recruiting for the position of Lubrication Technician in the Burdekin Region at Inkerman Mill. This is a permanent position, and the successful applicant will be required to perform a full range of duties. Job level will depend on current qualifications and skills required to complete the position. You will work as part of the maintenance team and perform duties as directed by the Work Coordinator and/or Engineering Superintendent. Your Role in Action The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Ensure the prescribed lubrication program for the site is executed with quality and consistency. Measure and record plant data as an integral part of executing the lubrication program. Provide input and support in continually improving the lubrication program across the site. Identify, facilitate and complete improvement projects related to best practice hydrocarbon management. Execute lubrication monitoring maintenance tasks contributing to minimising business risk, increasing equipment reliability and reducing operating costs. A commitment to our safe operation and safe maintenance initiatives. Ensure permits to work, risk assessments and job safety analysis are conducted for all work undertaken. Perform plant maintenance and/or assist day work/shift trades and production operators as required. Strong communication and organisational skills in a team environment. Have an excellent understanding of the WH&S regulations. Work effectively as a team member. Desire and capability to undertake further training as required. Work safely and look after the safety of others. Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback to the Engineering Team. Mechanical Trade or Common User Competencies skills (i.e., Fitting Skills).
