As the Manager, BSSA Assets and Operations, you'll play a critical role in overseeing and optimising BSSA's facilities across all metropolitan fixed clinics. This includes managing asset sustainment, ensuring seamless execution of building upgrades and capital works, and maintaining up-to-date facility leasing arrangements. You'll collaborate with central agencies and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered effectively, supporting the long-term sustainability and functionality of our facilities. In this pivotal position, you'll also lead the design and delivery of major capital projects, ensuring they meet operational requirements and organisational goals. Beyond assets, you'll provide strategic leadership in emergency, security, WHS, and business continuity planning, ensuring robust systems and programs are in place to support BSSA's operations. About You We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team as the Manager, BSSA Assets and Operations. To excel in this role, you will bring a wealth of expertise in facilities management and capital project delivery, along with exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities. Key requirements include: Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills : Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration and cooperation at all levels. Project and Team Management Expertise : Proven capability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects and team activities, delivering successful outcomes within tight timeframes in a high-pressure environment. Strategic Leadership and Decision-Making : Experience in managing complex procurement, facilities, WHS, and human resource issues, exercising sound judgement and innovative problem-solving to drive effective resolutions. Comprehensive Knowledge and Experience : Significant expertise in government facility management, capital project management, stakeholder engagement, and business strategy development, supported by a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, quality improvement principles, and change management strategies.
