With multiple farms in different locations, they offer a diverse and dynamic working environment. Job Description : Are you an experienced and motivated individual with a love for agriculture? Our client is on the hunt for a Macadamia Farm Manager to take charge of their Macadamia farm operations. If you have a knack for leadership and a passion for sustainable farming, this could be the perfect role for you to step into while receiving support and resources to succeed. You will have the ability to contribute to the growth of a sustainable and successful agribusiness. Key Responsibilities : Oversee all farm activities, irrigation, fertilisation, and harvesting and maintenance of crops. Develop and implement farm management plans to optimise production and ensure premium crop quality. Monitor and maintain high-tech farm equipment and all new machinery to keep things running smoothly. Identify and implement innovative farming practices to enhance the farm’s operation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage farm staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Maintain accurate records of farm operations, including crop production and inventory management. Collaborate closely with the owner and other departments to achieve company goals and support overall business objectives. Engage and supervise various contractors to ensure high quality work is performed. Qualifications : Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management, preferably in macadamia farming. Strong knowledge of macadamia cultivation and production techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
