You would be working in one of the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced foundries. This company offers consistent workflow and service delivery with uncompromised attention to personal WHS protocols. About the Role: Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader, you will be part of a team of mechanical trade persons working on automated high-volume production equipment. Based within the Engineering/Maintenance Team, you would undertake project work, day-to-day maintenance tasks, repairs, and services. When required, you will also be the backup for the Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader. The position is on dayshift, four days a week, (Monday – Thursday) 10 hours per shift with overtime on the 5th day as required (typically 5 – 10 hours). Key criteria required: Australian recognised Mechanical Trade qualifications Able to lead and motivate technical personnel in day-to-day activities Ability to build strong relationships with all internal departments Ability to prioritise work tasks Demonstrated experience in maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to perform mechanical gearbox and pump rebuilds General machining, fitting, and welding skills Physically fit, enthusiastic, great attitude, self-starter with an attention for detail Possess the ability to work autonomously and use your initiative whilst being a key player in a successful maintenance team Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical machinery issues Highly regarded will be: Experience in a demanding industrial/manufacturing environment 1-2 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role with strong leadership skills Experience in use of MEX or similar CMMS Licence to perform High Risk Work (Forklift Licence, EWP) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics In return we can offer: Above award rates $110K + (incl overtime) / annum Reasonable overtime with applicable penalty payments Consistent planned workflow Immediate start Opportunities for career progression Overalls supplied and dry-cleaned weekly If you have a proven track record of achievement to match the requirements for this role, please apply online or email your resume to (emailprotected) by Friday 21st February 2025. #J-18808-Ljbffr
