Levantine Hill has an exciting opportunity to join the team as our Groundskeeper and Maintenance Person. The primary purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the grounds landscape, garden and facilities maintenance, and keeping the Estate in its impeccable condition. Levantine Hill is launching its newly constructed boutique hotel in the third quarter of 2025, which will also fall under the responsibility of this position. Who you will be doing it for: Levantine Hill is an award-winning winery and vineyard in the Yarra Valley with immaculately maintained grounds. This role is in the heart of the Yarra Valley’s golden mile at our Estate on Maroondah Highway in Coldstream. The Maroondah Highway property is home to Levantine Hill’s winery facility and cellar door and restaurant. What you will be doing: The grounds are a showcase for our brand. Your role will encompass the upkeep of our exemplary Estate, including the efficient maintenance, gardening, landscaping and maintenance operation of the Estate. You will have experience in grounds care, operating water and irrigation systems, maintaining machinery and equipment, carrying out maintenance and minor repairs, and managing contractors. Key responsibilities: Maintenance, gardening and landscaping at 882 Maroondah Highway ensuring that the property is impeccably maintained. Mow grass, line-trim under fences and gates, and conduct weed spraying as required. Upkeep of the assets across all the properties generally, including plant, equipment, and machinery maintenance and to assist with horticultural duties where required. Maintain the appearance of the properties to the highest standard as the properties are the embassies for the Levantine Hill brand. Fulfill maintenance and handyman tasks. Where specialised skills are required, oversee that those tasks are completed using contractors approved by the company and within an approved budget. Chemical application, assist in the control of pests and vermin. Keep Estate clean and well-presented including driveways, roads, parking areas, grade gravel roads and fill potholes as required. Conduct regular maintenance and upkeep of sheds and other buildings, pump rooms, garages and any external structures. Ensure the upkeep and filing of records and documentation including service records, machinery and property manuals, and maintenance schedules. What you must have to apply: At least 3 years’ full-time experience successfully working in a similar role. Hold a full driver’s licence, have your own vehicle, and forklift licence. Residing near the Yarra Valley would be advantageous for commuting purposes. High attention to detail with a commitment to succeed. Good computer literacy to be able to accept, manage and complete tasks whilst communicating with the broader Estate team. Visit for further information.
