Boasting a restaurant, pool, tennis court, gym and much more - Albany Creek Retirement Village has an opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our established team. On a daily basis, you'll spend your time outdoors and around the village attending to light repairs, maintenance or groundskeeping tasks. You'll connect with residents and work with a great team of staff to ensure our buildings, common areas and units are maintained.No matter your life experience - whether you're just starting out your career or are looking for the perfect career change - we want to hear from youThis is a part-time opportunity working Tuesday-Friday 8am-4pmWhat we offer$30.75/hr + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation All systems training and equipment provided Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers Opportunities for further career progression - we want to develop you Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a large retirement living community You willYou will attend to various maintenance requests around the village (basic domestic repair tasks) Carry out preventative maintenance tasks (e.g pool checks, high-pressure cleaning, smoke alarm checks and bins etc.) Liaise with your fellow maintenance team to ensure projects undertaken are completed to a high standard Use our system app to log, track and record the progress of jobs completed Help out around the village with additional tasks Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team Please note - this is not a gardening role.
