The Role: Exciting career opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager available within Glad Group, leading the Maintenance Team at some of Sydney's most recognisable commercial and retail locations. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Management of the daily maintenance operations via ensuring staff and contractors efficiently fulfill services and tasks to the highest standards; Account management of our clients, acting as a direct POC between the client and the group, also being a liaison for any communications and meetings. Ensuring that strong relationships are fostered and maintained; Safely ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and professionally in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as Australia and State regulatory requirements; Establishing and maintaining good client relations with our relevant stakeholders. Including strong relationships with maintenance suppliers and contractors, ensuring that all tasks are completed and maintained to the highest standards; Budget and effective cost control planning, assisting with budget preparation of sites; Work with relevant teams to drive efficient operations ensuring the group meets operational goals and delivery on clear objectives; Ensure all maintenance functions comply with Health & Safety, HACCP, & Quality Systems regulations; Preparation of regular reports for the group on the maintenance area in terms of status and activities; Ensuring investigation duties are carried out to the highest standards, helping to identify potential risks and hazards for the group and client sites, leading to advised resolutions; Confidence in implementing company initiatives, procedures, and processes, focusing on continuous improvement and optimization. About You: Bachelor's degree or trade certificate equivalent with extensive maintenance experience 5+ years experience in a Maintenance Manager role or similar Previous account management experience is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft applications including advanced use of Excel, Word and Outlook Proven leadership skills, with strong knowledge and compliance of health and safety regulations Strong analytical thinking, with a mindset that is focussed on problem solving tasks and issues Ability to work both autonomously & as a team player, showcasing strong interpersonal & customer service skills Be well presented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Flexibility on working hours (Morning/ Afternoon/ Night) Benefits at Glad Group: Career progression through ongoing training and development Performance based bonus incentive plans Exclusive employee reward and recognition program Regular team bonding events Glad is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer and Champion of genuine action towards Reconciliation.
