That’s how lives are made sweeter with Sara Lee. About The Role We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Afternoon-shift Maintenance Team at Lisarow, NSW. You will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance to the sites manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and prolonged reliability. You will have a proven track record of delivering results and performance through collaboration and the development of your team. This is a fast-paced environment so it’s essential you can think on your feet, respond to issues in a timely effective manner and be able to deal with multiple priorities. Key duties will include: Responsibility and accountability for the safe day to day planning and execution of work in MEX for the maintenance shift. Health & Safety – leadership in promoting/improving Health & Safety culture and ensuring compliance within the Maintenance Department. Quality (Product and Systems) – ensuring that all quality systems relevant to the Maintenance area and operations are adhered to. Team Management and Culture – as a key member of the Maintenance Leadership group, promote a constructive culture and take responsibility for the implementation and sustainment of all Plant Programs, Policies and Procedures at shift level. Coach employees in regards to following policies, procedures and standards of work in their daily activities. Work closely with Operations Teams on shift to deliver production goals. Identify cost saving/improvement opportunities both within the Maintenance Dept as well as within the plant. Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner, Operations Leaders, Contractors and the Research & Development team. Shift by shift delivery of preventative maintenance to plant equipment, general fitting and machining duties, general welding duties, fault finding of equipment and RCA, assistance with repairs and breakdowns. Shift coverage (as required). About you Proactive mindset and passionate about continuous improvement. Relevant Australian Trade Qualifications - Mechanical Trade or Fitting/Turning. Experience in Manufacturing (FMCG preferred). Excellent fault finding and root cause analysis skills. Strong safety focus and driven to promote and improve safe work practices. Ability to work collaboratively with team members across the organisation. Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job, and to assist in the coaching of teammates.
