Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training services. Our client is seeking a Maintenance/Mechanical Team Leader for their large manufacturing facility based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. This position requires strong leadership skills, and you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment. This position is day shift (early starts) with minimum after hours call outs. Tasks and Responsibilities: Leading a Maintenance Team within a manufacturing setting. Communicating effectively with internal and external customers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with site stakeholders. Reviewing the operations to minimize unplanned downtime and identify opportunities for improvement. Managing competing priorities effectively. Offering technical solutions. Your Qualifications/Experience: Trade Qualifications (Mechanical trade or Engineering background). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proven knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and tasks. Strong computer skills and technical knowledge. Experience in the installation and maintenance of equipment in hazardous area zones. SAP maintenance program exposure, PLC programming/fault finding all desirable.
