Management Accountant - Aged Care and NDIS Christian Home Care is the business arm of Christian Home Church ; its mission is to empower our independently living clients in receipt of Home Care Packages through quality support and care to meet their social, physical, and emotional needs. Our ethos and model of care are based on the example given to us by our Saviour Jesus Christ. In addition, Christian Home Care has recently become registered as an NDIS provider and we are eager to commence assisting NDIS participants as well. We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and compassionate Management Accountant to journey with us and become part of the growing Christian Home Care family. As a Management Accountant , you will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer (CPA, 30 years of experience) and with the Assistant Accountant (Graduate Accountant). Your main role will be to support our clients with budget design and changes, Home Care Package / NDIS funds management, queries on services, and invoices. Key Responsibilities Lead the finance team, overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including supervision of the Assistant Accountant. Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the COO and senior management, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure alignment with business objectives. Provide strategic insights to improve profitability, optimize costs, and assess investment opportunities. Collaborate with the Director and Case Managers to assess financial impact and guide business decisions. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Continuously improve financial systems and processes to support business growth. Oversee financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory compliance. We are looking for a warm, positive, and enthusiastic individual who understands the importance of providing a superior customer experience. You have a strong ability to build rapport and proactively resolve queries whilst providing a high level of service to each client. You also have an ability to simplify information which can seem very complex to clients, and communicate it in a clear and articulate manner.
