What does the job look like? Join Linfox’s Fleet & Procurement department as a Management Accountant and play a pivotal role in supporting key projects in finance, budgeting, and insurance. Collaborate with a dedicated and highly collaborative team to optimize business activities and deliver high-quality service to our customers, ensuring compliance with our contractual obligations.Location: Essendon Fields Head OfficeEmployment Type: 12-month Max Term Contract Key areas: Manage financial aspects of Fleet & Procurement contractual arrangements. Maintain the contract register, calculate payment schedules, and process monthly customer payments. Prepare weekly reports for operational administrators and consolidate quarterly reports for management. Advise management on areas of improvement and key findings within weekly and quarterly reports. Prepare annual insurance policy schedules and manage group-wide recoveries. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders and brokers to prepare information for policy renewals. Reconcile large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and analysis. Reconcile insurance claims across all ANZ operations and classes. Assist in the preparation of the annual insurance budget and key documentation. Contribute positively to continuous improvement activities across the business. Are you the one? You should have a passion for continuous improvement, strong business acumen, and take pride in delivering your best work. Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Qualified or working towards CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Financial/Management Accountant in industry or consulting. Exposure to the Insurance or Manufacturing sector is highly desirable. Strong analytical mindset and numerical skills. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP or other enterprise ERPs is highly desirable. What's in it for me?
