Reporting to our Business Intelligence Manager, the Senior Power BI Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimisation of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver critical business insights. In this role, the developer collaborates closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into high-performance BI solutions. With expertise in Power BI, data modelling, and data visualisation, the Senior Power BI Developer plays a key role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This position also involves mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of Business Intelligence processes and capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and understand their strategic and operational needs. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide clear, meaningful insights to help drive better business decisions. Translate business requirements into data visualizations that are user-friendly, aesthetically appealing, and focused on actionable insights. Continuously refine and optimize reports based on user feedback to improve their relevance and usability. Act as a reporting consultant to different teams, helping them interpret data and identify trends that impact performance. Advocate for data-driven decision-making within the organization, promoting best practices in reporting and analytics. Provide training and guidance to business users on how to effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards. Work closely with data teams to ensure the availability, accuracy, and integrity of reporting data. Stay up to date with Power BI capabilities and industry best practices to continuously enhance reporting solutions. Key skills and experience: Strong ability to understand business needs and convert them into meaningful reporting solutions. Expertise in Power BI for building interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and reports . Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills to convey insights effectively. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in business reporting, data visualization, or analytics , preferably using Power BI. Experience working closely with business stakeholders to develop meaningful reporting solutions. Familiarity with data modeling concepts, DAX, and SQL is beneficial but not the primary focus of the role. Exposure to different business functions (Finance, Sales, Operations, HR, etc.) and understanding of their reporting needs is a plus. Benefits - Why work for us?
