Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) provides quality water and wastewater services to 54 towns in North Central Victoria. Our core purpose is to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable water services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The Manager – Enterprise Planning and Performance will work closely with the Executive Team and will be responsible for working across the organisation to design and deliver strategic and corporate planning and performance measurement activities each year. You are a strategic thinker with a passion and talent for translating long term enterprise objectives into pragmatic plans and performance measures. Your collaborative style supports our organisation to work as one team to deliver high quality water services and support the prosperity and climate resilience of our region. The role also includes responsibility for developing a process to identify key priorities, sequence work in a timely manner and discuss key processes to enable distribution of work across the organisation to fulfil objectives and outcomes related to our Strategy, Price Plan, Corporate Plan, regulatory commitments and new initiatives. Your degree or above in a relevant discipline such as Business, Economics, Engineering or Science complements your ability to successfully navigate the organisation through strategic and business planning and performance measurement activities. About your new role… Extensive experience in the implementation of strategic and business planning, providing outcome measurements and monitoring progress within a large organisation is supported by your credibility and ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders and drive change at an enterprise level. Successful execution is accelerated through your ability to lead high profile strategic initiatives and drive meaningful change through developing and implementing corporate planning, performance frameworks and reporting processes to support effective decision making. Reporting directly to the General Manager – Strategy and Performance, you will be joining a collaborative and innovative leadership team, predominantly based at the Shepparton Administration Centre in the Fryers Street CBD precinct. You will be afforded the ability to work flexibly, in line with GVW’s flexible working policy. About you… To be considered for this role you must have demonstrated some of the following: Degree or above in a relevant discipline (Business, Economics, Engineering or Science) Relevant change management experience in implementing change in an enterprise-wide role Considerable experience and demonstrated capability in business related project management Experience in the development, documentation and implementation of business processes Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on strategic outcomes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and presentation skills with the ability to translate business concepts into plain language Highly capable in liaising with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external Strong OHS commitment and focus.
