We are seeking a dynamic HR & Training Lead to partner with site leadership and align HR initiatives with business objectives, driving operational performance and supporting long-term growth. This role will lead a high-performing HR and Training team to deliver generalist HR support, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and professional development.Key responsibilities include: Collaborating on strategic planning, ensuring HR services align with company goals; Leading HR and training initiatives to foster safety, compliance, employee engagement, and inclusivity; Providing expert guidance on complex industrial relations and employee relations issues; Analysing workforce data to inform decisions and implement improvement strategies; Supporting organisational change and driving cultural shifts; Building strong relationships with all levels of the organisation and liaising with Group HR to align with corporate strategies. This position requires leadership skills, HR expertise, and the ability to drive change and improve operational efficiency. Join us in shaping a culture of success and inclusion.About you: Key Skills: Strong strategic thinking and alignment of HR practices with business needs; Ability to build trusting relationships at all organisational levels; Deep understanding of ER/IR principles in Australia; Proven leadership in driving organisational change, particularly during periods of transformation; Strong operational understanding and ability to lead diverse HR and training teams. Experience: 10+ years in senior leadership roles within HR, organisational development, or business partnership functions in dynamic, industrial environments; Expertise in industrial relations, including enterprise agreement negotiations and resolving complex workplace issues; Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with senior stakeholders in diverse environments; Knowledge of safety, compliance, and regulatory frameworks, ideally within the mining or resources sector. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Industrial Relations, or Organisational Psychology; Postgraduate qualifications preferred in a technical or management discipline; Valid driver’s license for remote site-based roles.
