This exciting opportunity will see you rolling out funding across Queensland to increase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students' school attendance and engagement in learning. Working with state schools, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations, you will lead the roll-out of culturally capable and evidence-based programs. Your Role: Your responsibilities will include: Manage and contribute to project teams in the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of programs including developing program logics, policies and procedures to support the strategic direction of the department including those focused on improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Establish and maintain strategic networks to monitor issues and changes, and to identify, define and analyse best practice approaches to implementing consistent processes and facilitate ongoing departmental relationships within these networks. Manage and lead a small team of professionals and work across the Department to procure new programs and manage existing contracts.
