TMR's Land Transport Safety and Regulation (LTSR) Branch has a fantastic opportunity for a Manager (Audit and Reform) to join the Industry Accreditation Reform team in Brisbane. We're seeking an experienced manager looking to apply their skills in a dynamic government setting. You will lead an audit team in the review and quality assurance of accreditation scheme management practices and compliance, supporting the promotion of road safety outcomes while working collaboratively to engage with industry. Your expertise in quality assurance and audit practice, combined with your ability to remain agile in an evolving environment will be crucial as you lead the team through this work. If you have a passion for quality assurance and practice improvement, we want you to help shape the future of our key road safety schemes. Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include: Leading a team to deliver a streamlined and contemporary industry accreditation compliance and audit program of work that ensures the objectives of various industry accreditation schemes are met. Collaborating and negotiating with other teams from across TMR, as well as industry stakeholders, to develop solutions that consider political, community and business impacts. Critically analyse and consider complex information and audit results from various accreditation schemes to identify trends and inform risk-based decision-making and make recommendations for reform. Providing strategic and expert advice to senior departmental executives on matters relating to industry accreditation opportunities for improvement. Manage your team resources and work program to engender a culture of continuous improvement and ensure outcomes are delivered to a high standard and on time, in a professional manner.
