Manager, Brand Coach (519297) Location: Victoria, Australia PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION: As a adidas Technical Representative, you will lead and execute the field support strategy in all distribution channels located within your respective territory to increase market share and sell-through at retail, amplify adidas’ product leadership, and build recognition, awareness and loyalty for the brand. What We Are Looking For: A Brand Coach with strong brand coaching and retail training experience , ideally in the sports, footwear, or apparel industry . A proven track record in sales growth, market expansion, and customer engagement within a competitive retail environment. Experience in leading and managing field coaches (Running & Football) to drive training, trial/testing, and active selling . Expert knowledge of sports products , particularly running and football , including product features, benefits, and industry trends . HEAD COACH & TRAINING TASKS: Own the Pacific territory to help drive sales, training, communication, best practice processes and grow brand awareness at specialty, sporting goods and adidas owned locations. Manage and coordinate all field coaches (running & football), ensuring the best execution of our Coaches Strategy with a focus on our 5 key areas: trial/testing, staff training, customer engagement, events, and active selling. Build strong relationships with your accounts and work closely with them to grow the brand by understanding their business and what is important to them and their customers. Priority accounts including Multi-Brand Sporting Goods like Rebel Sports, The Athletes Foot, Intersport, Running Speciality and Football Specialty. Be an expert in all things adidas running and Football; product & event marketing. Organize and ensure availability of relevant training materials. Implement seasonal product training to dedicated customers. Review training materials received from Global and adapt the training to the requirements of the local market while maintaining the integrity of the course and its learning objectives to ensure consistent delivery across Pacific. Utilization of sales data to look for areas of brand growth. Educate retail partners and consumers on adidas technology: Responsible for training store associates on all product details, features & benefits. Develop creative ways to engage with and motivate our partners to keep adidas Running and Football front of mind. Create and execute new and exciting running events in person and virtually to help increase sales and brand awareness in key territories. Work cross-functionally with the Wholesale Sales, Brand Marketing, Omni Trade Marketing, Sports Marketing, Category Management within adidas to streamline communications & planning. Represent adidas at marketing events such as expos & races at both the local and national level. Complete weekly & monthly reports to track both your progress, adidas growth, and report back from the field with consumer feedback. Measure and improve efficiency of staff training via mystery visit programs and test interviews. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure. Good knowledge of omni channel sport marketing. Fluent in English and other language(s) is an advantage. REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 4+ years Retail, sales, event, marketing, or customer service experience preferred. Excellent presentation, public speaking & interpersonal skills both in person and virtually. Understanding of retail sales practices and ability to create practical and logical assortment plans based on selling space, inventory turns and sell through. Strong understanding and passion for the sport of running, running products and running industry trends. Mental flexibility, self-initiative, and determination. Strong team player with the proven ability to work cross-functionally to achieve objectives and targets. Ability to pivot and react to a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Travel is required up to 60% of the time. Working and reliable vehicle is recommended. WHAT'S ON OFFER?
