In our newly created Manager – Brand and Marketing opportunity, you will collaborate with all areas of the organisation to develop, lead and execute engaging brand and marketing content to support Suncare’s purpose and strategic objectives. You will enjoy utilising your marketing expertise in a hands-on role that significantly contributes to the growth and achievement of Suncare’s business goals for staff, volunteer and customer segments across our community and home-based services. As well as leading the marketing team and building a positive team culture, you will be responsible for maximising word of mouth promotion and referrals, increasing community connections, and increasing brand awareness and visibility in the marketplace for Suncare. More about the role: Reporting to the General Manager – Customer and Community Experience, you will: Develop and lead Suncare’s brand and marketing strategy and campaigns to support business growth, market penetration, and profitability, while maximising opportunities presented by regulatory changes. Deliver internal and external events aligned with Suncare’s calendar, while fostering strong communication and partnerships with stakeholders to ensure efficient processes. Assume a leadership role within the Marketing and Communications team, ensuring a positive and responsive customer-centred approach to business support. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather content, including attending events and meetings, and manage media consent. Create and distribute print materials (e.g., newsletters, brochures) and lead the development of the Annual Report, including stakeholder coordination, writing, and proofreading. Develop high-impact digital campaigns to grow customer activity, online engagement, and brand awareness, while staying updated on digital marketing trends. Ensure consistent internal communications aligned with brand strategy, maintaining intranet content and engaging internal platforms. Build community partnerships and manage supplier relationships (e.g., media buyers, print stakeholders) to support marketing strategies and initiatives. Conduct research and gather insights to inform decision-making and support Suncare’s data development efforts. Advocate for quality community and in-home care services, supporting Suncare’s purpose and values. Contribute to annual budgeting for the Marketing and Communications team. What you will bring to our team: As a customer and continuous improvement focussed professional, we will value your passion and experience in implementing successful marketing and communication strategies. You will also possess: Tertiary qualification or relevant experience in marketing, communications, or related field. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with a commitment to supporting and developing team members. Sound and applied knowledge of current theory and best practice in marketing, public relations, and communications. Exceptional written communication skills and proof-reading skills. Significant experience in the creation of accurate high-quality content across all marketing and communication mediums. High level computer skills, with experience in using Canva, CMS, Mailchimp, Monday.com and Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft SharePoint. Advanced understanding and use of social media platforms for brand visibility, brand credibility, business development, and customer engagement. Highly developed analysis skills to analyse marketing data to adjust campaigns and influence target audiences and maximise return on investment. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate, collaborate and negotiate effectively with colleagues, customers and stakeholders. Strong planning, organisational and time management skills to meet conflicting timeframes for multiple projects and work on several campaigns simultaneously.
